Self image - is the way you see yourself, what is your attitude towards yourself, how do you think about yourself. Everything good is taken for granted. People focus on negative obstacles more often, they struggle against bad, and it leads to the integration of bad ideas into the subconscious mind. And as a result it influences the self appraisal. Self image is formed on the basis of your daily thoughts and actions in various situation.
Positive self esteem - is the starting point of all achievements. If you are not able to fall in love with yourself, how can you love other people?
Positive self image is very important, because all your actions depend on it. If it is high, your output increases in direct proportion. Positive self esteem leads to the confident actions and right decisions. Negative self esteem leads to the lack of self confidence, timidity and procrastination during making a decision.

REASONS OF NEGATIVE SELF IMAGE

1. We live in the negative society and all the time deal with negative people

Successful people are minority, they manage to break a wall of mediocrity and rise above the crowd. Why it is so difficult? Because you need to leave the usual and common crowd's point of view and trust you inner seeing, and follow your spirit's call. This is not so easy, because at every turn someone gives you an advise how to do better and what to do. They say you're crazy, you loose your mind and average person leaves the road. Average person choose the easiest way, join the crowd the follow others goals instead of own. There are a lot of people, crown steal the dreams from.

2. People always make fun of the talents, intellectual abilities, appearance of other person. Parents, friends, teachers often have doubt about the abilities of a person.

You can not compare yourself to other people, because you're absolutely different. Each person is unique, each person has his own values, you do not know about. Often people compare their weaknesses to other people strengths. Of course they excel you in these values. You have your own strengths and you have to find them and apply for your own success. You can become successful only and only applying your strengths. Applying and developing your weaknesses is the road to suffering. Forget about your weaknesses, and focus on your strengths, then you can compare your strengths to someone's else same values. You will excel them each time.

To improve your self image, you have to form it consciously. People are not always fair. If you do your job badly, you will be criticized, because you do it badly. If you accomplish everything perfect, you will be criticized for something else, but you will be ALWAYS criticized. In such conditions it is very difficult to maintain your self image on a high level. Without understanding it and conscious maintaining your self-appraisal you're doomed to fail. Here are some methods how to build up and maintain positive self esteem. They are quite simple, but very effective. Choose whatever you like most. Or you can choose few of them.

1. Mirror

Look at yourself in the mirror. And when you look in the mirror tell yourself positive words. For example, 'I'm a successful person', 'I love you', 'I believe in you', 'All the time you are making right decisions', 'You are prosperous businessman', 'you are a winner' etc. Notice your own positive traits of character. Fall in love with yourself regardless of who are you right now. If you do not like your appearance, start notice positive things in your appearance. I do not believe, you have only disadvantages. Little by little you will see yourself quite different.

2. Journal of your victories

Take the notebook and title it 'My success journal'. From this day you will write down everything you succeed in the notebook. Only your victories, everything you did good, all your right decisions. Everything you did badly, or fail just draw a conclusion and forget about the failure. Ignore everything bad and focus only on your victories. Set a goal to write down your victories in the notebook every day. It can be some small and miserable affairs, but still write them down. All the time you will doubt to write it down or not. The rule is: if you're unsure to write or not, write. Better you will have plenty self confidence, than lack of it. When you come across difficulties in your life, or different obstacles, when you feel lack of self confidence open this notebook and read. Your will feel yourself confident again.

3. Build up your self image and hold it in your mind till the time the real you and your image become identical

From all the above methods this one is the most difficult. The main point of this method is to build up a new self image. Try to built as much detailed and clear. The more clear it is, the quicker you will become the new person. Describe how do you see yourself in various situations, your actions, your traits of character, what you wear, how do you look like. And this image few times a day, at least once a day. And do it till the time it becomes a part of real you.

4. Self advertisement

Self advertisement - this is a short positive text, that describes you and your qualities. Very well works together with 'mirror' method. This method consists in:
you just take the sheet of paper and write your own self promotion text. It looks like the following: 'Brian Smith, let me introduce you to Brian Smith - a charismatic leader and a very successful businessman. He is very famous figure in the business powerful interest. He owns many businesses throughout the world. Probably is consist in 1% of the richest people in the world.
He has great dreams and plans for future. He brings to perfection his own methods and techniques of personal development. And I would to admire, that these methods helps thousands of people to change their life to the best. He has a very strong faith, he has faith in himself, in his business and everything he does is directed toward the best. He likes his business, he likes to help other people. He likes difficulties, because he believes they are the blessings. The bigger the difficulty - the bigger success you reach in future. His love has no limits. He loves each and everyone, he believes everyone is God's children and each person has unlimited potential. Day by day his business becomes stronger, and Brian becomes better, then he was yesterday and more confident.


You can write whatever you want. Each day stand in front of the mirror and read it. When you remember this self advertisement you will be able to pronounce it very clearly looking on yourself. This is exremely powerful tool.
