1. GOALS HAVE TO BE BIG

Goals can be efficient only and only, when they are big. To stir up enthusiasm and inspiration, that are vital for achieving success, you need BIG goals. Enthusiasm comes only on maximum effects towards achieving the goals. Small goals do not contain that grandeur, to make the man start moving toward his goal and continue the way, when he is down. Often obstacles are cruel and bowl down a man. The big goal will rouse a man and help him to move forward. The small goals in the similar situation will disappear and leave a man lying. Small goals do not fire up the mind, do not enthuse him, because nothing enthusiastic to remain mediocre. A man is ready to struggle for something, that will drastically change his life in spite of many difficulties on the way.
Lets see, what happened, when man comes across the difficulty on the way. Please look at those images below, that shows how man handle difficulty. On the pictures is shown that man see the difficulty with the help of eyes, but really he sees it with the help of the minds inner seeing.
Let us assume, the person set the small goal (pic.à).
a) small goal disappears from the scope.
What is happening: the problem is big enough, and the reward is small. The person focuses on the problem and forget about the goal. The reward is small enough, and that's why there is no reason to work so hard to achieve something miserable. The easiest way is to retreat in the face of difficulties. The goal should be MUCH MORE bigger then the problem. If the goal is a little bit bigger then difficulties on its way, still you can feel the lack of positive emotions to break a way through.

B) The BIG goal still in the scope. Now let's imagine the person set the big goal and do not loose a sight of his goal. The man comes across some difficulty, but he continues keep an eye on his big goal, because the reward is worth of all the efforts. He resolves the problem and continue the way toward the goal. If on his way stand another problem, that will cover the goal, the man retreat as in the previous picture. That's why set BIG goals for you, and no problem will be able to cover up your goal, and keep away form the sight. All the time when person meets with difficulties, he unconsciously compares the reward, that he will get and the size of the difficulty. The man simply go the time, the goals is already achieved in his imagination. If the reward is worth enough, the man will resolve the problem and move on. If the reward is not worth of all the efforts, the man will leave his goals. And pay attention to the fact, that decision is made purely based on emotions and no logical fact are taken to the account. BIG goals arouse much more positive emotions, that give power to move on.
Set the goals big enough to believe in it, because only belief determines how much time it will take you to achieve this goal. If the goal so big and not real, that you can not convince yourself it can come true you will give up the first time you come across a difficulty. Maybe even has not started move on. Belief is very strong and powerful emotion, and if we mix it with a big goal, you will not find a problem, that stops you. Remember these two pictures when you set goals. The big goal is easier to keep in mind then the smaller one. Big goal contains much more energy, that gives energy and power to struggle against difficulties. All the problems seems miserable, until you focus on it. Then they will become stronger.

2. THE GOALS SHOULD BE VERY CLEAR

In spite of any resources, talents and power you dispose, you will never reach the peak of your potential abilities until you make them to focus and work towards one clear goal, paying all the attention to this goal. The mind operates only with images and if your goal is dull and ambiguous, it can not imagine the clear image, and as a result no emotions arouse. No emotions - no actions. Only crystal pure goals can arouse strong positive emotions. That's why it is not enough to say: «I would like to earn more». The mind does not know, what it means "more". And now please say «I would like to earn $200,000.00 a year». It will imagine not only this sum of money, but also will imagine things and items you can have for this money. These items will arouse clear pictures in the mind, and a variety of strong emotions will fill your heart. Look at the animals. Have you ever watched the hunt of a predator? They choose one animal from the stock and focus all attention on it. They do not see others, it seems that others do not exist at all. Only one goal, only one animal. He learns the behaviour of this animal and once the appropriate moment comes, the predator starts an attack. All the animals start running away. Maybe there are few animals in front of him, but he has made the choice already and follow only the chosen one. Even if all other animals stop running predator still will run after that one. Nature is designed this way. Animals do not have choice. Predators need to kill to survive. We do have. We may stop and do not run. We may get use to what we have right now. Maybe predator will not catch that one, but the goal remains. He wants to eat. He chooses the next victim and go on. As the results he achieves his goal. We have to set up a big goal, close the eyes for the rest and go ahead toward this goal. Maybe we will choose not the best method to achieve our goal, the most important not loose the goal from sight. Earlier or later you will achieve your goal, be sure about this. The clarity of the goal focus your mind on definite goals, and does not allow to walk around those problems on the way.

3. GOALS SHOULD FORMED POSITIVELY

Each goal should be positive. Negative goals leads to the false interpretation by the subconsciousness. Subconsciousness interprets them the opposite to what we suggest. On the subconscious level «do not loose» means loose, «do not be late» means to be late. The main object in the sentence - to loose, so the subconsciousness makes it our reality. The negative prefix is ignored, the sentence has a negative meaning. You focus on defeat. Set goal 'not to loose' and 'to loose' is the same goal! Not to loose means to win. So why not to set the goal 'I win'. Our mind operates with images. The word 'loose' in spite of the content it is used always and always arouse the negative image. The word 'win' always arouse the positive image!
If you do not believe this is true, please verify it on your own experience. Very good if you can watch the small kids. If you say, do not touch it, they will touch it for sure. If you do not have opportunity to watch the kids, watch yourself. If someone says 'do not do this' your first reaction, to do this more and more. If someone tells you not to do something the first reaction is opposite for some reason. Make a rule for yourself, even if you do not fully understand why, set all the goals in a positive way! 4. GOALS MUST HAVE TIME LIMITS

The only and the most considerable difference between goal and dream is the time limit. It means that each goal has the deadline. If it does not, it can not be considered as a goal. The deadline has the psychological aspect. I will try to explain it to you. If you have a meeting at 12:00PM, you will arrive probably in the period between 11:50AM and 12:30PM. Of course you can be late, but nevertheless, you will arrive, sooner or later. BUT, if you do not have a meeting, or you do not know about it, you will never arrive to the destination. The same happens to goals. Maybe you will be late, but this is not a big deal. You reach your goal. Do not worry about you're late and do not reach goal in time. You just reset the deadline and that's all. And continue moving forward. This is a very important psychological moment. People are afraid to set goals, because they worry not to reach them on time. This is big mistake. You will always succeed, if you set your goal enough times. There are no unreal goals, but there are unreal dates. That's why set up your goals confidently. Just do not tell about this anybody, and you will not be afraid about succeeding in time.

5. GOALS HAVE TO DAILY

When you find your dream, and break it to pieces, I mean goals, now this is the high time to act. And you have to take actions every single day. If you do not have the daily goals, it seems that you're a wishful thinker. see the dream article. Goal itself is nothing, until it makes you act. Goals without belief - are useless. You can rise your belief to the appropriate level only by actions. Daily goals make you take actions. And actions make your dreams transform into the reality. Without daily goals nothing will happen in your life.
All big goals are long-term. Long-term goals are the goals for 1 - 15 years. 15 years are very big period of time, and if you will think about the tasks and difficulties you have to accomplish during this period of time, most likely you will give up. Just for this reason you need daily goals. How to walk 100 miles? Step by step, step by step. Here is the same, you keep your eyes on big goal, but focus on completing the daily goals. They are small and you need less power and efforts to succeed. So day by day, week by week, month by month, and you will succeed. You will not even notice how this has happened.
